ESPM Compatibility
Abisko provides a comprehensive integration of ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager® (ESPM) to ensure accurate reporting and compliance analysis. Built and tested in close collaboration with ESPM staff, Abisko is the only solution that maintains full consistency with ESPM data models and calculation methodologies. This ensures all metrics and calculations are fully aligned with Benchmarking & BPS reporting requirements and GHG Protocol guidelines, including advanced integration of green power, RECs, and market-based emissions logic.If ESPM services are disrupted, nightly synced data will remain fully accessible in Abisko and properties can continue
to be fully managed within the platform.
Imported ESPM Data
Abisko uniquely ensures consistency with ESPM by syncing multiple data types.- All ESPM Meters: While other solutions only import in-metric meters, Abisko imports all in-metric and out-of-metric meters to enable users to simultaneously manage, analyze and report whole building and split (landlord vs. tenant) performance. Abisko also imports meter details including activation periods and original units.
- All ESPM Meter Entries: Abisko imports all meter entries in their complete and original structures, maintaining original units and details. This includes waste data in mass or volumetric (e.g. containers) formats.
- All ESPM Property Uses and Details: BPS standards are often based on property use breakdowns. Abisko imports all property uses (e.g. Office, Restaurant, Parking) as well as their details (e.g. Operating Hours, Number of Occupants) to enable accurate tracking of BPS requirements and more.
- ESPM Metrics: Abisko imports select ESPM metrics to enable users to reference these analytical values in preparation for Benchmarking and BPS reporting.
ESPM Profiles & Consistency
Unlike Abisko, other solutions do not maintain fully consistency with ESPM and lose important data (e.g. out-of-metric meters, activation periods) when syncing with ESPM. ESPM Integrated Links
Abisko integrates links throughout the platform to enable users to instantly jump to a specific meter or property in ESPM to quickly address any issues identified on Abisko. ESPM links can be found in the top banner of each property, below the meter name of any ESPM meter and throughout multiple EXCEL reports. Clicking an ESPM links opens a new tab to the relevant ESPM property or meter profile.Users must be logged into ESPM to view their data in ESPM.
