Add a Property

To create a new property in Abisko
  1. Click on [xx] properties link in the portfolio banner to open the property list sidebar
  2. Click on Add Property at the top of the sidebar
  3. Enter the property details and click Save

Edit an Property

To edit basic attributes
  1. Click on the Edit button in the property banner to open the edit sidebar
  2. View and edit property details and click Save

Delete a Property

To protect against accidental deletions, Abisko does not allow users to delete properties. Please contact Abisko to request to have a property deleted.

Property Details

Required and optional fields when creating new and editing existing properties.
For ESPM properties, the following fields must be edited directly in ESPM.
  • Property Name (required)
    • For ESPM properties, an optional Nickname field is provided to allow users to set a different display name in Abisko.
  • Country (required)
  • Street Address (required)
  • City (required)
  • State (required)
  • Postal Code (required)
  • Gross Floor Area (required)
  • Property Type (required)
  • Year Built (optional)
  • Date Bought (optional): The date the property was bought or came under management.
  • Date Sold (optional): The date the the property was sold or disposed.
The ownership period defines the period over which property performance is calculated and reported. Any data outside of this ownership period is excluded from metrics and reports.
  • GRESB Property Type (optional): GRESB property types differ from those of Abisko & ESPM and therefore a separate field is provided.
  • Percent Ownership (optional)
  • Gross Asset Value (optional)
  • Data Partners (optional): A list of organizations or individuals who contribute to the property’s data collection efforts. This enables targeted analysis at the portfolio-level.
  • Energy Reporting Level (optional): Determines the process by which scope emissions are categorized as well as how energy data is reported to GRESB.
    • Whole Building (Landlord Controlled) → All in-metric energy meters are automatically included in landlord energy consumption and emissions calculations.
    • Whole Building (Tenant Controlled) → All in-metric energy meters are automatically included in tenant energy consumption and emissions calculations.
    • Split (Landlord vs. Tenant) → All meters (in-metric & out-of-metric) that are assigned to space types are included in landlord & tenant energy consumption and emissions calculations.
  • Water Reporting Level (optional): Determines how property water data is reported to GRESB.
    • Whole Building (Landlord Controlled) → All in-metric water meters are automatically included in landlord water consumption calculations.
    • Whole Building (Tenant Controlled) → All in-metric water meters are automatically included in tenant water consumption calculations.
    • Split (Landlord vs. Tenant) → All meters (in-metric & out-of-metric) that are assigned to space types are included in landlord & tenant water consumption calculations.
  • External IDs (optional): Abisko allows users to track IDs to external data providers (e.g. GRESB, Yardi) to help them cross-reference data across platforms.
